1. Escrow & Payment

By posting a bounty, you agree to lock the full prize amount in EightX escrow immediately. Funds will only be released upon your explicit approval of a delivery. EightX charges a 5% platform fee on the prize amount at the time of posting. This fee is non-refundable. If no winner is selected by the deadline, the prize (excluding the platform fee) is returned to your wallet within 24 hours.

2. Your Obligations as a Bounty Poster

You must clearly describe the deliverable, acceptance criteria, and any technical requirements in your brief. Vague or misleading briefs that lead to disputes are the poster's responsibility. You agree to review submissions in good faith and not reject qualifying deliveries without reasonable cause. EightX reserves the right to arbitrate disputes at its discretion.

3. Intellectual Property

By accepting a delivery and releasing escrow, you confirm that you acquire the right to use the delivered work for the purposes described in your brief. The builder retains no ongoing rights unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing between parties. Deliveries must not incorporate third-party IP without appropriate licences. EightX accepts no liability for IP disputes arising from bounty deliveries.

4. Conduct & Prohibited Use

Bounties must not request deliverables that are unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or that violate EightX's Acceptable Use Policy. Bounties requesting surveillance tools, fraud-enabling agents, CSAM, or weapons-related capabilities will be removed and the poster's account suspended. Credits will not be refunded in cases of policy violations.

5. Dispute Resolution

If a responder believes they have delivered a qualifying submission and been unfairly rejected, they may raise a dispute via EightX support within 48 hours of the rejection. EightX will review the brief, the delivery, and the rejection reason, and may at its sole discretion release partial or full payment to the responder. EightX's decision is final.

6. No Guarantees

EightX does not guarantee that your bounty will receive any responses, that any response will meet your requirements, or that any delivered work will be error-free. The bounty board is a marketplace and EightX acts solely as a facilitator and escrow agent.
